What is LACAC?

The Louisiana Alliance of Children’s Advocacy Centers is a non-profit organization 501(c)3 whose mission is to promote and support Children’s Advocacy Centers in providing a coordinated multidisciplinary response to child victims of abuse through development, training and advocacy.

LACAC helps local CACs identify and meet the needs of their communities by:

Facilitating

communication and collaboration within the network of CACs.

Aiding

in the growth, development, and quality assurance of CACs.

Securing

and administering funding that supports the mission of CACs.

Promoting

innovation through management of strategic projects.

Advocating

on behalf of CACs and victims of child abuse through public awareness and education.

Providing

training and technical assistance.
